Ryu (Korean: 류, Japanese: リュウ) is a Filipino-Japanese trainee contestant in the upcoming NCT Universe : LASTART survival show. He competed to debut in NCT WISH.
Background
Ryu was born on October 20, 2003, in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture, Japan.[1][2] His parents are Hideaki and Mary Jane Shirahama. He has 2 older siblings; Izumi (known as Loveli) and Alan Shirahama.[3]
Personality and Appearance
Ryu has a hot and cold personality.[4] His MBTI type is ISFP. What makes him charming is his excellent singing abilities.[2]
Career
Before NCT Universe : LASTART
Ryu auditioned through Welcome to NeoCiTy Audition and then trained for 2 weeks before the creation of the show.[1]
NCT Universe : LASTART
On July 13th, Ryu was revealed as a contestant alongside Minjae. In the first mission Ryu placed 8th place.[1] In the second mission Ryu moved up to 6th place tying with Ryo.[5] In the third mission Ryu stayed in 6th place.[6] In the fourth and final mission Ryu moved down to 7th place.[7]
