Yushi (Korean: 유우시, Japanese: ユウシ) is a Japanese trainee under SM Entertainment. He is a member of SMROOKIES and will debut in the boy group NCT and its upcoming sub-unit NCT WISH.
Early Life
Yushi was born on April 5th, 2004 in Tokyo, Japan.[1][2] Yushi has a younger brother named Jiu.[3][4]
Personality and Appearance
Yushi's MBTI type is INFJ. His personality is calm, quiet, warmhearted, kind, patient and mischievous but is also cheerful especially with friends.[1][5] What makes him charming his laid-back attitude.[2]
Career
Pre-debut: EDAMAME BEANS & SMROOKIES
2016-2018: EDAMAME BEANS
In January 2016, he was revealed as a member of the Japanese EBiDAN unit, EDAMAME BEANS.[6][7] As of April 5th, 2018, Yushi made his last known appearance on the EBiDAN 39&Kids ameblo blog on his 14th birthday due to being busy with soccer and school.[8][9] Sometime in 2018, Yushi came to Korea to train and he trained for 5 years (2018-2023).[1]
2023: SMROOKIES
On June 28th, 2023, Yushi, alongside Sion, was revealed as the newest member of SMROOKIES, a pre-debut team of trainees under SM Entertainment. He will debut in NCT WISH.[10][11]
